Apple Amends IBooks Author EULA

Apple updated its End User License Agreement (EULA) for the iBooks Author application specifically stating Apple’s intentions concerning content ownership and distribution.

Apple’s amended EULA outlines that only .iBooks formatted products created in iBooks Author will sell through the iBookstore. However, Apple will sell the content without claiming any rights to the books, and will not restrict where authors can redistribute the content, granted the redistributed work doesn’t contain any of the file created in the .iBooks version.
