Even with photography going digital and camera phones replacing handhelds, their is still a need to print those photos. I have to regularly upload my photos to Walmart.com so I can send pictures of my son to his grandma. See, she isn’t up to speed in the technical era, and that is ok. For instance, she asked me other day what the difference between a laptop and a desk top was. Then she asked if she got a laptop if she could get emails to see pictures. Knowing my mother pretty well, my reply was simple. “Unless you plan on hanging out at Starbuck or McDonalds for internet, no!” She doesn’t fully comprehend the need of a monthly internet service to get internet. Heck, she doesn’t even own a cell phone.

Dotti Disposable Camera on the other hand solves many of those issues for me. DDC brings the need to have physical photo prints to Android and to your doorstep. DDC works like a traditional disposable camera but on your Android phone or tablet. You open the app and snap your ‘roll of film’. You can review each photo a head of time so no worries about getting a bunch of crappy photos in the mail. Once your 12 photos have been snapped, you send them of digitally to be printed and shipped out. Cost wise, it is $4.99 a roll to ship in the U.S. and $5.99 out side the states. Best part is you can have them shipped to your house, a friends house or a relative. Even a complete stranger if you would like. Hey, that would be no different than Facebook. If you need doubles that will set you back an extra $3.

The prints get delivered as 4X6′s and are printed on FujiFilm archival quality photo paper. So you can expect good quality prints. The app has a few bonus features include like: Charging flash LED, film advance and film winding. You can even open the camera up and watch the film wind and not expose it.

It is a pretty darn cool idea and application. the DDC accepts Sincerely credits, so you can have that relative or who ever pay for credits ahead of time so you can send them pictures. Check it out on the market if it finds your fancy.

New York – AppHome presents an easy way to share voice messages and favorite musics on social network sites like Facebook and YouTube. To do so AppHome has announced the first release of Phodio. Phodio is now available on the AppStore to download.

Phodio is the one and only application till today of this kind. The main goal is to share voice memos on social network sites which do not support audio upload. To do that AppHome has tried to utilize some built-in features of iOS. Most of the iPhone, iPod and iPad users are used to share their photos and videos from photo library. But it is not possible to keep audio file in photo library and some most popular social network sites like YouTube, Facebook does not support audio file upload. Phodio has overcome this limitation in a tricky way, which is, through converting the audio file into a video file with a personalized title image and then saving into iOS photo library. From photo library users can share that video file to Facebook and/or YouTube as they usually do.

As well as Phodio offers some bonus features. Voice messages and musics can be imported from other app or email attachment. Even it is possible to record audio within the app. Recorded and imported audio file can be transferred to the computer over USB using iTunes file sharing feature. Santa Cruz, California – GoodHumans announced today the release of the 1.4.8 version of eMailGanizer, the intelligent email reader for the iPhone. This update allows iPhone users to easily print their emails in either html or plain text format. Also included in this release are variety of bug fixes and performance improvements.

With eMailGanizer’s new print functionality, the plain text version of an email is printed by tapping the ‘Reply’ button at the top right of the screen while viewing an email. The user then selects ‘Print’ from the available action choices. Once the print choice has been selected, the user is transferred into the standard AirPrint iPhone printing screens.

The printing of graphical, html formatted emails works almost the same way. The print menu is accessed by tapping the ‘Action’ button second from the right at the top of the screen while viewing the html version of the email. From there, the process is the same as for the text emails.
