[New Game] Data Tunnel; Can you by pass security fast enough to avoid Detection

Sunday, February 12th, 2012

A Data Stream processes millions of terabyte’s of data a second globally. You are using a data stream right now to view this article and our website. Alternatively, data streams are the how hackers gain access to computers, intercept calls and cause the general amount of debauchery. Data Tunnel is a game based on a hackers inside perspective of screaming through a Data Stream, avoiding security features and reaching the core processor before being detected.

You will use your devices accelerometer for steering and touch the screen to boost your speed. Keeping your eyes focused on the tunnel ahead to steer around obstacles and various other troublesome entities. The first couple of levels in the demo are pretty easy. Giving you a little time to get used to the speed at which you are traveling and how responsive your steering is. You get 6 levels to scream through for no charge with no time limits and no ads.

The graphics of the game look exceptional. The developer has done a great job making it look great and play great. Once you get your dose Data Tunnel in the demo version, you will want to snag the full version for sure. The full version offers a bit more intensity. You will have 25 levels to maneuver through and 7 various unlockable ‘Data Runners’ to choose from. Each runner has its own characteristics. One mmay give you greater speed but is slower to maneuver, while another may be a little slower but maneuver extremely quickly. Finding the right runner to get to the processor before time runs out is the trick. Sometime slow and stead wins the race. It gets pretty crazy after you get going.

To kick the replay value up a bit, each level is randomly generated based on a set of algorithms. If missed a power up, or thought you memorized the tunnel the first time through, you will be wrong. The enemies, obstacles and power ups are randomly generated ever time you play a level. Check out some screen shots and the official trailer below.

Below you can click or scan the QR code for the demo version to get a feel for the game. I bet after you weave your way through the demo though, you will have to snag the full version. BGR iPad 3 Report Includes Leaked Details Confirming Quad-Core Processor

Thursday, February 2nd, 2012

Boy Genius Report is reporting they obtained information confirming information about the upcoming iPad 3.

The leaked information in question comes from some images sent BGRs way by a source claiming to actually have an iPad 3. While there’s plenty reason to doubt BGR’s source, the leaked information does corroborate well with previous reports by DigiTimes concerning the iPad 3’s supposed J1 and J2 model numbers.

The leaked info reveals two different model numbers one for a Wi-Fi only iPad 3 and another with embedded GSM/CMDA/LTE connectivity for

Rumor: Quad-Core Samsung Galaxy S III to drop in April with 12 Megapixel Camera and ICS

Wednesday, January 25th, 2012

Russian tech blogger Eldar Murtazin dropped a little rumor earlier today that will, at very least, get your imagination flowing. His claim is that the still-unannounced Samsung Galaxy S III will launch this April, after being officially unveiled in Barcelona at Mobile World Congress late next month.

Eldar is also dropping hints that he managed to get his hands on the new device, though you can take that with a grain of salt for now, considering Mr. Murtazin’s spotty prediction track record.

“HD resolution, 12 mpx camera, sw tweaks, android 4 – i like my new phone. Eager to see official announcement in Barcelona,” – @eldarmurtazin

This tweet was sent out by Eldar, and has been accepted by some as a direct hint at the Samsung Galaxy S III. Of course, most of these details can logically be expected, so there’s no way to tell if he’s fibbing or not. Think about it for just a second — the Samsung Galaxy S II was unveiled at MWC last year and launched for Europeans in April, so this could likely be the venue for the next unveiling. Also, the upgraded specs only make sense — yes, it’s going to launch with ICS. Yes the camera is going to be upgraded and 12MP does sound like a nice round number.

One thing Murtazin hinted at that’s sure to make a buzz — the SGSIII will come rocking a 1.5GHz-1.6GHz quad-core processor. This isn’t all that surprising to me though, as we’ve already heard talk of quad-core phones coming this year, so we’d only assumed the Galaxy S III would be one of the first to have one.

For now, we’re taking this with a grain of salt, but it sure is nice to have something to occupy our minds until MWC, isn’t it?

[RUMOR] First quad-core phone from LG might show up at Mobile World Congress

Saturday, January 21st, 2012

I personally feel that this years CES event was much better, and more productive than last years. That still doesn’t mean that there were things missing from the show floor that we had hoped to see. There were a number of great devices and innovation from many companies from around the globe. Something that many often forget about, is that CES might be huge for CE, Mobile World Congress is equally huge for just the mobile lifestyles. If we or any number of other sites didn’t catch hands on time with something that we wished was there, it is most likely right around the corner.

One device that is most likely to make its first appearance to the press at MWC is LG‘s X3. That is a codename for right now, it will probably have a few more names before the public can get their hands on one. According to PocketNow, the X3 will be LG’s first handset packing a Tegra 3 quad-core processor. The rumor mill is a blaze with other specs as well. It should be sporting a 4.74-inch display at 1280X720, 8MP rear camera and 1.2MP front shooter. On board memory is said to be 16GB with the accompaniment of a microSD cad slot. Powering the device is a 2,000mAh battery.

Word on the street is that it will be packing Android 4.0, but will still offer a 3 button capacitive button configuration. Why LG would do that is beyond us. Of course it is still highly based on rumor and may not actually have any buttons on it. We fully expect the device to be a 4G device, but which radios it will include is up for debate. It should be the 21Mbps HSPA, but we aren’t ruling out LTE just yet. We should also see the device loaded with Bluetooth 4.0 and a NFC receiver.

I suppose we will have to wait and see what MWC brings us at the end of next month. I know last year had quite the line up of devices that CES attendees were unable to see. Until we can get some better photos and maybe a little hands on time with this secret device, keep your eyes peeled for it.

64GB ASUS Transformer Prime returns to Amazon for Pre-Order

Monday, December 19th, 2011

ASUS TRANSFORMER PRIME

The 64GB “Champagne” version of the ASUS Transformer Prime has returned to Amazon.com for those who would like to pre-order the world’s first quad-core tablet. If you’ve got $599 lying around, and can patiently wait for the device’s launch, you may want to head over to the pre-order page and add your name to the list to avoid long wait times once the device does hit the streets.

Unfortunately, the 64 GB model is the only version you can pre-order at the time of this posting. There’s no listing for the 32 GB Prime, but I’m sure it will show up sooner or later, if you’ve got your heart set on the smaller of the two tablets.

The ASUS Transformer Prime features a 10.1-inch Gorilla Glass screen, 1200×800 HD display, and an NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor. The tablet also packs an 8MP auto-focus rear camera and a 1.3MP front-facer, and will ship with Android 3.2. Of course, everyone already knows the Prime will get its taste of Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0), but there’s no exact date for the upgrade’s availability.

Here’s the link to the pre-order page:

Another Samsung device headed towards T-Mobile, Samsung Galaxy W dubbed the Exhibit II 4G

Thursday, October 13th, 2011

T-Mobile sure isn’t wasting anytime bringing in a whole slew of devices for various comfort levels and price tags. They just launched the SGS II and HTC Amaze along with the LG myTouch line. They have another LG device on the way, that really isn’t much to look at. Now There is some leaked info on a new Samsung Galaxy W device headed to Magenta. Don’t for a second thing that this will be ‘just another cheap device’.

The Samsung Exhibit II is said to be sporting a 1.4Ghz single-core processor, 3.7″ WVGA display and a 5mp camera with what looks like a single LED flash. Sounds like a slightly souped up Galaxy S in my opinion. You can see the style and design of this  new device looks pretty clean. I kinda like it.

No pricing information has been leaked out just yet, but if I had to guess, I’d say somewhere around the $150 marker. That puts slightly higher than the current Vibrant and slightly lower than the Galaxy S II. Assuming they are smart about pricing it that is. Now that some official press shots have emerged, we can only hope that T-Mobile gets this puppy out around mid to late November. That would put in time perfectly with the holiday shopping and give the parents a choice of something new that doesn’t break bank to buy.

Motorola Admiral shows up in YouTube video, promptly set to private

Saturday, September 24th, 2011

I love it when the person in charge of getting things put up on YouTube forget to mark the video private. The leak could have been intentional to see what the reaction was or it could have been a complete user error. One never knows what is going on behind the scenes. No matter what happened, enough people got to take a look at it for a few minutes before it was . The Motorola Admiral is still one of many devices that is ‘unofficial’ and is said to be headed to Sprint.

The spec sheet that went cruising around the web last week got some juices flowing in the right circles. The device is said to be packing a 1.2GHz single-core processor, a 3.1″ VGA display, a 5-megapixel rear camera (720p video capable), CDMA-based Direct Connect capabilities, and Android 2.3 Gingerbread. None of those specs are all that impressive if you ask me.  The design of the device looks an awful lot like a Blackberry with its QWERTY keyboard positioned just below the screen. Just above the 4 row keyboard are your traditional 4 soft touch keys for menu, home, back and search.

What makes this device stand out from the crowd is not the layout, the internal hardware or the camera. This little guy is featuring Military grade  dust, shock, vibration, solar radiation, low pressure, high and low temperature resistance. That right there makes this a go to device for those of you in the working class that want an Android device but run out of insurance claims in the first 3 months. There isn’t any word floating around on a price tag suggested yet. Even with its semi average hardware I think the Military grade aspect might push the price tag up a little.

I know there has to be someone out there that could really use this device. Anyone have any horror stories about how they ruined their device on a job site?
